Davey Cakes

​ David Flores was born in Chicagol Illinois August 19,1970                                     David was working in construction for many years before he decided to follow his passion for the arts. Do to an unfurtunate accident he suffered while working hard construction, he had to have back surgery . While recovering from back surgery he worked on his artistic abilities, and found his true gift once again . The best thing he said to come out of his recovery time,was that he had more time to spend with his children.  Some of that time was spent  watching  cake shows with his daughter, and  it was his daughter who inspierd his first attempt at cake art. The fun that they had making thier first cake together made David want to hold on to that moment with his daughter for as long as he could. Now by creatating these wonderful cakes with his daughter , David say's he can relive that moment over , and over again. David and his daughter are still making cakes, and he's still smiling. David continues to craft his art work, and  is well rounded in other mediums such as airbrushing, wood carving, special  FX prosthetic make up ,creature disign, mask making, he's a tattoo artist, he writes his own music, and poetry, clothing design, Videooghraphy, Photography, Sculpting,  Culinary, and so much more. Every where he looks,  he  can see the  artistic possibilities.
